With Years TOO late is CSIS getting in the picture?
CSIS Starts An INVESTIGATION On Mark Carney’s Election CORRUPTION!
,,
TRANSCRIPT
another Canadian election another
warning of foreign interference this
time a top ceis official is sounding the
alarm and the implications could shake
the very Foundation of our democracy
China India Russia and Pakistan are all
being flagged as potential meddlers in
the upcoming election with China being
highly likely to deploy artificial
intelligence tools to manipulate the
outcome sound familiar it should we've
seen this before and once again it seems
that the interference could benefit the
same political party that has quietly
looked the other way for years the
Liberals Mark Carney The establishment's
Golden Boy is emerging as a serious
Contender to replace Justin Trudeau but
how much of his potential Victory will
be owed to legitimate support and how
much to foreign interference if history
is any indication the forces at play are
not working in favor of Canadian
democracy with the liberal friendly
institutions already failing to take
decisive action Canadians are left
wondering is this election already
rigged before the first ballot is cast
welcome back to Street politics
Canada the warning from Canadian
Security intelligence service cisus
official Vanessa Lloyd regarding
potential election interference from
China India Russia and Pakistan should
concern every Canadian who values
democracy but of course the Trudeau
government will likely respond with
their usual approach ignore it deny it
and then claim anyone bringing it up is
spreading
misinformation the fact that China is
highly likely to use artificial
intelligence AI tools to meddle in the
upcoming federal election should alarm
voters especially given the history of
foreign interference magically working
in favor of Justin Trudeau and the
Liberals it's almost as if Beijing has a
preferred candidate I invite you to take
a moment to acknowledge the importance
of the land you call
home yesterday marked the beginning of
the 45th general election free and fair
elections are a Cornerstone of Canada's
democracy and the government has been
planning diligently to protect the
Integrity of our election and defend
against foreign
interference today I'll be sharing with
you how the government will address
threats and how we will communicate with
Canadians during the election period if
foreign interference is
detected Vanessa
lyd The Honorable Marie Jose ug stated
in her final report on foreign
interference in federal electoral
processes and Democrat
institutions that Canada's Democratic
institutions have remained robust and
that the government of Canada has
responded to attempts at foreign
interference with measures and
mechanisms to better detect deter and
counter
them one of these measures has been the
critical election incident public
protocol which was activated again
yesterday with the issuance of the
Ritz the purpose of the protocol is to
provide Canadians with enough
information about any such incident so
they can make an informed decision when
they cast their vote maintaining trust
in our electoral system is
Communications with Canadians under the
protocol will only occur in exceptional
exceptional circumstances ones that
could impair Canadian's ability to have
a free and fair election past elections
have already demonstrated that foreign
interference played a role in securing
victories for the Liberals in both 2019
and 2021 despite growing concerns about
China's influence in Canadian politics
the so-called panel of five never issued
a public warning maybe their silence was
just a coincidence or maybe they were
too busy drafting their congratulatory
letters to Trudeau if the Liberals
benefited from foreign interference
before what assurances do Canadians have
that it won't happen again in 2025 we
had very clear lists of okay this this
Republican Governor could be very
helpful to us uh this one is uh going to
be a challenge so let's stay away from
them or try and come at them or or try
to neutralize their influence on others
that's just part of diplomacy right
there I will say that having re read the
targeting uh targeting paper in detail
now uh there are
some
interesting
um factoids or or tidbits in there that
I said oh okay that's
interesting none of them
significantly
altered altered at all my perception of
China's Behavior China's uh Focus
China's engagement uh influence and and
in some cases interference uh in Canada
to any significant
degree and I count on my National
Security and intelligence advisor to
look at various products to make a
determination whether or not they are
ready to go to the Prime Minister I
think in both of these cases the the
the papers were the other special report
that you're you're going to be talking
about in a moment were not in a final
form according to the nsia uh and
therefore weren't there wasn't a
decision made to pass it along to me I
have to trust the nsa's Judgment as I
said before in knowing what is going to
be useful for me what is going to be an
appropriate use of the 10 or 15 minutes
worth of time that would take to go over
a document like this whether it adds to
my knowledge or whether they're in those
10 or 15 minutes that she has to submit
other information to me there is more
gerine or more relevant information that
she thinks would be a better use of my
time the determination was made in the
case of this targeting paper
or the targeting paper didn't get to me
because of decisions made by uh the nsia
or not made by the Sia um in terms of
not choosing to pass it
along I have faith having looked at the
paper that it was indeed the right
decision by the National Security
intelligence adviser that it wasn't a
document that significantly added uh in
a relevant way to my understanding of
the situation it is no coincidence that
China is now suddenly ready to move
forward in its relations with Canada the
timing suggests that Beijing is
confident in its ability to influence
yet another election to ensure that a
liberal friendly leader such as Mark
Carney takes power Trudeau's government
has already demonstrated a willingness
to appease China whether by downplaying
security threats or refusing to hold
Beijing accountable for human rights
abuses now China is making it clear that
it expects Canada to return the favor
potentially at the cost of Canadian
sovereignty and yet Trudeau acts like
he's the real victim when people
question his ties to China the inclusion
of India Russia and Pakistan in the list
of potential election meddlers only adds
to the complexity of this issue Russia
for instance has already been accused of
spreading disinformation through social
media networks and kremlin-backed news
outlets meanwhile India's government has
been accused of trying to exert its
influence in Canadian politics
especially in the wake of diplomatic
tensions over prime minister Trudeau's
handling of India Canada relations and
Pakistan with its history of meddling
and Foreign Affairs is yet another
factor that could disrupt a fair
election process in Canada additionally
cyber threat activity targeting
targeting elections has increased
worldwide and poses a grow and growing
and real threat to Canada's Democratic
processes while our country is targeted
by a considerable volume of cyber threat
activity Canada remains a relatively
lower priority Target for cyber efforts
than some of our
allies moving to site's assessment of
specific State actors it is expected
that the People's Republic of China CH
or PRC will likely continue to Target
Canadian Democratic institutions and
Civil Society to advance its strategic
objectives PRC officials and proxies are
likely to conduct foreign interference
activity using a complex array of both
overt and covert
mechanisms the PRC is highly likely to
use I AI enabled tools to attempt to
interfere with Canada's Democratic
process in this current election
the PRC is also highly likely to use
social media to promote narratives that
are favorable to its interests and to
specifically Target Chinese Ethnic
cultural and religious communities in
Canada using clandestine and deceptive
means we have also seen that the
government of India has the intent and
capability to interfere in Canadian
communities and Democratic processes to
assert its geopolitical influence
Canadian and canada-based proxies as
well as contacts in their networks are
increasingly relied on to conduct
government of India foreign interference
activities for its part Russia has
undertaken sustained efforts to build
dissemination networks across social
media and news websites that repurpose
and amplify Kremlin talking
points it is possible that Russia will
use these online networks to
opportunistically conduct foreign
information min ulation and interference
operations directed at
Canadians finally the government of
Pakistan could potentially conduct
foreign interference activities against
Canada in line with its strategic aims
to promote political security and
economic stability in Pakistan and to
counter India's growing Global
influence what is most troubling is that
these so-called safeguards put in place
by the liberal government appear to be
nothing more than a facade the very
institutions meant to protect election
in Integrity cisus the RCMP and Global
Affairs Canada are controlled by
officials who answer to the Liberals
these bureaucrats have already failed to
act decisively in the past so why should
Canadians believe that they will
suddenly stand up for democracy in 2025
even more concerning is the growing
influence of Mark Carney who has been
positioned as the next great hope for
the Liberals Carney has deep globalist
ties a history of supporting left-wing
policies and has already hinted at
continuing Trudeau's failed economic
policies if ends up winning due to
foreign medling it would be a
continuation of the liberal agenda that
has harmed Canada for nearly a decade
Canadians should not forget that it was
under Trudeau's leadership that Chinese
influence expanded significantly within
the country and carne is poised to
maintain that trajectory but hey at
least the Liberals will throw in a few
more empty promises about building back
better while doing the exact opposite
the cost of this election is another
alarming Factor at $570 million
taxpayers are being forced to foot the
bill for an election that is at risk of
being manipulated by Foreign actors this
extravagant price tag comes at a time
when many Canadians are struggling with
inflation Rising housing costs and a
declining economy all problems created
and worsened by liberal mismanagement do
you have an estimate on the cost of this
general election yes so the estimate at
this point is 570 million it's an
estimate as I said we're aiming to hire
for example between hopefully 250,000 uh
workers it may be less and that will
impact for instance the the cost of the
election we have on our West website a
cost estimate that's a year old so it's
a bit out of date we will update that uh
right now we're looking at about 570 uh
which is slightly less than the last uh
election PV on the other hand has
consistently stood against foreign
influence in Canadian politics he has
pushed for stronger national security
measures called out China's attempts to
manipulate Canadian democracy and has
vowed to stand up for Canadian
sovereignty unlike Trudeau and Carney
recognizes the dangers posed by Foreign
actors and has the political will to
take action the stakes in this election
could not be higher this is not just a
fight between different political
parties it is a battle for Canada's
future will Canadians allow foreign
actors to determine the outcome of yet
another election or will they stand up
and demand a leader who will protect
their rights and their
democracy Pierre POV has made it clear
that he is ready to take on this fight
and it is time for Canadians to Rally
behind him to ensure that democracy
prevails foreign interference is not
just a theoretical threat it is a
reality that has already shaped past
elections the cus warnings must be taken
seriously and Canadians must be vigilant
in demanding transparency and
accountability with the cost of this
election already astronomically High the
least Canadians deserve is a vote that
is fair free and protected from foreign
influence anything less would be yet
another betrayal by the liberal
government and the establishment but
don't worry I'm sure the Liberals will
have a great excuse ready right after
they blame someone else for his failures
well that's all for now do you think
foreign interference will once again
decide the outcome of Canada's election
or will Canadians take a stand to
protect their democracy let us know what
